OLO REPLACEMENT CARTRIDGES

OLO alcohol markers feature a patented free-flow ink system comprised of three pieces: OLO nib, OLO cap, and OLO’s ink cartridge. This ink cartridge technology allows for an unparalleled 90% ink usage and consistent ink flow throughout the cartridge's lifetime. Once the marker’s ink cartridge runs out of ink, keep the cap and nib and simply replace the ink cartridge.

Before getting started, we recommend protecting the work surface. The process is simple, but accidents can happen, and alcohol based-ink can stain. Rubbing alcohol can be used to clean markers, hands, and some surfaces.

Note: OLO’s patented, free-flow ink technology does not utilize traditional refill methods. Techniques reserved for refillable markers, such as dripping ink onto the nib or directly into the cartridge, will not work or fill the expired OLO ink cartridge.

Step 1. Remove and keep the cap from the expired ink cartridge.

Step 2. Remove the small seal/cap from the new Replacement Cartridge. Next, place the Replacement Cartridge on a flat surface, standing straight up.

Thanks to OLO's unique design, the ink will not leak out once the seal has been removed.

Marker bodies are color-coded for quick nib identification. The black marker body identifies the brush, and the dark gray color identifies the chisel. ALL OLO nibs are compatible with ALL OLO marker Replacement Cartridges.

Step 3. Remove the nib from the expired ink cartridge and insert it into the Replacement Cartridge.

OLO nibs are made to last and durable enough to be reused. Gently remove the nib using a clean tool, such as flat tweezers. If fingers are used to remove the nib, gloves are recommended. Gently grip the nib and pull it straight out from the ink cartridge.

Step 4. Cap your new marker. Once your nib is saturated with ink, it is ready to use.

After placing the original nib and the original cap on the new ink cartridge, the marker is ready to use. Unlike other brands, OLO does NOT need to be “equalized.”
